When Will We Get Our Wedding Photographs?

In a world of “instants” is is very difficult not to expect instant wedding images. However, that old expression “you can’t hurry art” really does apply to the process of wedding photography editing. If you were having a bespoke, made-to-measure gown prepared, you would actually be very alarmed if the seamstress telephoned, the following day, to say that your dress was ready! When you have had bespoke photography, the editing procedure is made-to-measure too.

Having two professional wedding photographers at work means around double number of images taken. Each photographer will carefully select, from their own photographs, the images you will receive. Once the selection process is completed, one of our team specialises in editing and like every hand-crafted button, individually sewn on your gorgeous gown, each image is individually and meticulously edited and several checks are made along the way.

After the editing, the images are then rearranged and dovetailed, in sequence. Then, they are re-numbered with further checks carried out. A final check is made and, at that point, the images are uploaded to our professional, gallery platform for you to download and share.

Depending upon the number of images from your shoot and the busy season times, the entire process can take a number of weeks.

However, we always aim to get a sneak peek of images out on Facebook as quickly as possible - even, at times, on the same day! That way you have professional images to share the first, exciting news of your elopement.
