Where Should We Hold Our Isle Of Skye Elopement?
25 February 2016

Oh, the glorious possibilities!

In Scotland, weddings can take place almost anywhere - indoors or outdoors - so your options are basically infinite.  Even when restricted just to the Isle of Skye, there are so many stunning locations with gorgeous views where you could hold your elopement ceremony.

Here are a few of our favourites.

Quiraing Wedding Photography

The Quiraing.  The iconic curve of the Quiraing provides a stunning backdrop to your wedding photographs.

Old Man Of Storr.  Okay, it's a bit of trek, but we think you'll agree it's definitely worth it.  A stunning panorama of views envelop you two (or you three if you could the Old Man!) as you exchange your vows.

Talisker Beach Wedding Photography

Talisker Beach.  There's something romantic about beach weddings.  The soft sound of the waves, the cry of seabirds in the background, the tang of salt in the air - all adding up to a stunning wedding location!  Talisker Bay boasts beautiful sands, an iconic waterfall and a jagged sea stack in the distance.

Neist Point.  Imagine getting married on the edge of a cliff, with Neist Point Lighthouse in the background.  Surrounded by ocean views as well as arable fields, this is a location that truly offers the best of both worlds!

Fairy Pools Wedding Photographer

Fairy Pools.  The moody Cuillins provide a staggering backdrop to the Fairy Pools, but they can't outshine that amazing turquoise water, the stunning waterfalls and the amazing reflections that combine to make one of Skye's most iconic wedding locations.

Fairy Glen.  Intriguing landscapes that make you feel you're in fairyland, bizarre land formations, serene lochs and castle ruins - it sounds like the elements of a fantasy novel instead of a wedding venue.

Loch Coruisk Wedding Photography

Loch Coruisk.  There are no real words to describe Loch Coruisk.  Idyllic, serene, magical come to mind, but they don't really capture the true stillness of this amazing place.  The fact that the loch is only accessible by boat adds to its charm (and means you're very likely to see seals and maybe even dolphins on your wedding day, like Jordi & Bego did!)

Wherever you are having your Isle of Skye elopement, we wish it to be everything you ever dreamed of and more.  The importance of superlative photography cannot be understated and those photographs will increase in value as time goes on.  We are currently running a very special offer for Isle of Skye elopements, so we'd love to hear all your wedding plans!
