Tony and Vicki's elopement was so wet and windy that it proved impossible for them to head to Loch Coruisk.
The dramatic skies and moody views tell the tale - you couldn't even see the Cuillins, let alone sail towards them.
Spirits undampened, the couple went ahead and had their ceremony on the Elgol shores under the Honeycomb Rock.
Angela from the Highland Council took a lovely, sweet ceremony. Registrar's ceremonies are usually over very quickly, so there's plenty of time for the couple to opt for a reading, hand-fasting or other romantic aspect.
Vicki's dress was one of the most amazing we've seen this year. Sweeping drapes of tulle and lace made for a perfect, glamorous gown.
Being a member of the Rock 'n' Roll Bride Facebook group means we get to see a lot of brides opt for personalised leather jackets. This was our first time photographing one - and it looked fantastic. It also meant we could keep Vicki nice and warm in between shots.
Tony looked very smart with his gorgeous blue suit and personalised touches.
For the following shot, I positioned the couple deliberately in the hopes that a wave would crash on the rocks and provide a gorgeous, spray effect. I asked them to keep very still so I could freeze the water droplets.
And, yes, unfortunately, they had to get wet for the shot!
Norma had always wanted to photograph on the bridge near the harbour. She got her wish.
After several hours shooting at Elgol Harbour, we made our way to Duisdale House Hotel. We can't praise the staff there enough - as they kindly let us wander around and take all kinds of shots there.
The interior of the hotel is gorgeous! There are so many amazing decorations and ornaments to inspire photography!
Tony and Vicki, we had a wonderful day with you both! You were brilliant - even when standing in the freezing rain in nothing but a wedding dress! We wish you a beautiful future together.
Many thanks to the fantastic creatives who helped make the day so happy.
