I've waited all year for this smell.  The light rain has brought out its full flavour, sharpening and enhancing it.  I take a deep, appreciative breath.  Freshly mown grass.  There's nothing like it, and now it really does feel like spring.  Or, rather, smell like spring!

May is my favourite month, but, so far, it hasn't been behaving like spring.  Today, however, the sun is warm on my face and the wind has dropped.  I'm hoping this means the weather will improve, especially for those who have planned their wedding for this month.  Don't forget to check out our special offer for couples eloping to Skye this month!
