The Euphoria Experience - celebrating luxurious, dramatic, romantic elopement photography!

We specialise in elopements - it doesn't get much better than photographing two people promising eternity to each other as they are surrounded by the beautiful Isle of Skye landscape.  The Euphoria Experience is a collection of images from the gorgeous elopements we have had the pleasure of photographing.

The Quiraing is one of the many amazing and bizarre land formations on Skye.  It formed the backdrop for the recent film, Macbeth, and it makes one of the most dramatic elopement photography locations ever!!  In the photograph below, I asked the bride to hold her dress so that it mimicked the shape of the Quiraing.

Armadale Castle's dramatic ruins never fail to inspire.  It was the perfect location for Derek and Shelly's elopement.

Fairy Pools - the perfect setting for a fairy-tale elopement!  Robert and Nichole eloped all the way from America to exchange vows, accompanied by the bubbling waterfall, the serene pools and the towering Cuillins.

Ashley and Samantha had Skye connections, so they were married at Dunvegan Castle.  We love this image of Ashley dipping his bride back - and, yes, they are standing on a piano!  Their destination wedding was featured on We Fell In Love, the Scottish wedding blog.

Red is my favourite colour - so I rarely miss a chance to incorporate it into my images!  At Samuel and Ruth's Duisdale House Hotel elopement, we found a scarlet shed - perfect for photographs.  Samuel and Ruth's Isle of Skye elopement was featured on dedicated elopement blog, Simply Elope.

Elopements are all about the intimate nature of the wedding and we love when that can be reflected in the photography, like this magical moment between our bride and groom below.

If you're looking for dramatic, brooding skies, you've come to the right place!  At Joseph and Sharon's Skeabost Country House Hotel wedding, the sky formed a truly moody background.

Of course, Skye weather can be unpredictable.  We usually agree on a Plan B with the couple prior to the wedding day, just in case the weather is impossible to work in.  Joseph and Natalie's elopement was on a very wet day in May.  They were staying at the Cuillin Hills Hotel - and the luxurious, inspiring surroundings were perfect to photograph in.  Even if the weather is wet, the wedding day spirit will not be dampened!

Bego and Jordi came all the way from Spain to exchange their vows at the serene, other-worldly location of Loch Coruisk, Isle of Skye.  Their elopement was featured on the destination wedding blog, Fly Away Bride, where you can read Bego's top tips for eloping!

It's always fun when a bride gets married at her home, as it means we can incorporate special details into her photographs.  This hanging mobile gave the image a Gothic feel.
