Euphoria Photography - Isle of Skye Wedding Photography, in the Highlands and Islands and throughout Scotland

Sligachan Bridge Elopement
Rock On!
21 December 2015

When you are hiking up and down hill, on the Isle of Skye and in the highlands of Scotland, wedding photographers tend to refine their kit.  Meanwhile, back at the car, are all those extra bits of lighting and duplicate equipment, should these be required.

While Roz and I were preparing our end-of-year review - our tongue-in-cheek look at ourselves, at work, during the last season - I noticed that I seemed to have a new piece of essential kit, without which I could not work.  I think it might all have begun the first time I squatted down low in the river at the Fairy Pools, Glenbrittle.  Well, of course, I went so low, you can guess the results!  After that, it became necessary to have that indispensable wedding photographer's item - the rock!  But, of course, wedding photographers are like lemurs jumping here and there, up and down to get that special shot for their couple and that means they need a variety of sizes of rock - for the higher camera angle, the lower camera angle and even the photographic prop.

So, 2015 has proved to be the year that Euphoria rocks and the coutryside is strewn with Euphoria's rocks.  If you see any of these special items, would you leave them in place as we are likely to need them again soon - thank you!
