(Can’t help thinking about Morecambe & Wise with that title!)
Roz & I are excited, though, because he is coming. Our friend, Alexander Koenders, is coming to Scotland again (from the Netherlands) for a visit. Alexander is a fellow Olympus Professional Photographer and we have the greatest admiration for his work.
I always think that wildlife photography has to be one of the hardest. The patience waiting for unwilling subjects to appear and the speed at which the photographer has to react to get that micro-second’s shot, before the subject disappears again, is astounding. Besides the personal hardships to be on location in extremes of conditions. This is Alexander’s area of expertise and he produces some of the most outstandingly stunning wildlife photography we have ever seen.
