It's our favourite part of the year - where the big folder called "Photographs To Make Us Laugh" gets brought out and the pictures of us at work, demonstrating poses and trying and failing to stay out of shot are posted for all to see.
One of this year's clients said that the Looking Back blog posts were a major reason in their decision to choose us. He said the fact we have fun at our work told him we were in it for love, not just as a job.
2017 has seen us demonstrate our affection for our clients in many ways - usually by holding their hands whenever possible.
We require regular cuddles throughout the wedding day.
When Norma doesn't get to cuddle the clients, she sulks!
Norma often takes time out of a busy wedding day to spend in contemplation.
Naturally, Norma and I always work seamlessly together and never, ever invade each other's shot.
Spot the photographer!
Maybe trying to hide would work better if I didn't wear such bright clothing?
Norma again searches for unusual insects, when she's supposed to be holding the light...
"Hurry up, I need to make a phone call!"
We take every opportunity of practicing our dancing skills.
Norma got so tired one hot day that she just had to lie down.
But then so did I.
It looks like we spend more time lying down than we do on our feet!
Being small people often means we have to use whatever means possible to gain a few extra inches.
Often, during photoshoots, we like to act out different film scenes. Here is Norma's Mary Poppins impression.
My impression of a manically-laughing Hollywood villain is second to none.
Norma, meantime, auditions to be an extra in Pirates of the Caribbean.
Presumably I'm trying out for a role in a Western?
When we are not dancing, exercising and perching on solid objects, we like to race our clients as much as possible.
Norma often gets so involved in racing that she fails to stop - even after the race is over!
Norma spots a rare fish in the rock pool.
No, Norma, somehow I doubt the fish was as big as you say...
Norma just won't stop showing us how big the fish was...
Clients even start looking for the fish when I'm trying to pose them...
You know you watch too many murder mysteries when you pose the couple like victims in a crime scene...
Norma was quite taken with the bride's beautiful curls - so she held her down and demanded to know the secrets behind her lovely hair.
Norma puts the hair care tips into practice on the very next wedding.
Norma spends hours analysing the hairstyles of each bride - while they pray for it all to end soon...!
This year, we have been practicing our leg exercises as often as possible.
Followed by our arm exercises...
Norma convinced the bride and groom that this coal scuttle was a portal to Narnia...
Norma likes to play peek-a-boo with her brides.
Do you think I have an aggressive side?
Norma has her own distinctive stance...
I make sure to keep my hat safely on at all times...
The moment where Norma realises she and the bride had picked similar outfits...
Norma takes every opportunity to admire Skye's plant life.
Norma gets her clients to listen up by using gestures.
Getting the best reflections means getting wet...
Norma often entertains clients dogs. She takes this very seriously, making sure they are properly cooled down by swimming in the Fairy Pools with them...
Thanks to everyone we worked with in 2017. It's been an adventure!
Thanks especially to Norma. 2017 has presented us with riddles wrapped in engimas on rollercoaster rides (no, that isn't a thing.) but you've always taught me to look for solutions, not at the problems. I couldn't have got through this year without you. Euphoria was born because of your determination, your confidence and your hard work. Without you, my life - and the lives of all our clients - would have taken a very different path. It's your enthusiasm and passion for this that brought us in touch with so many amazing, fun and adventurous people. I can't wait to see what 2018 will bring for us all.
